My horse is going to be in his stall all winter and is going to be body clipped, because I’m gonna ride him a lot. So what is a good type of blanket for a 15.3 Quarter Horse?

Since it is like 30 degrees (F) outside, we put our horses winter blankets on. If it is a fairly mild day, but still cold out, is it ok to still lunge my horse with his blanket on? Thanks!

My horse is grey and I live in the cold Minnesota. I am wondering what blanket do you think would work best? Would a turnout sheet, or a thick winter blanket work best? Also would it be to hot for my horse to wear a turnout sheet in the summer? Thanks!
