Owning horses can be very rewarding. However, some people think taking care of these gentle giants is easy. Although there are some who are already masters in this field, there are others who only know about the basics of equine care. From good food, to proper shelter, to the proper horse tack supply products, the list for necessities seems endless. Horses do need the right stable supplies in order for them to be healthy, safe and comfortable.
I bought a stable blanket online for my horse, thinking that it was going to be waterproof, but since i turn my horse out in the winter time, he has to have a water proof blanket.
Im looking for an internet site where I can buy a heavy weight, tough, long lasting, water-proof, breathable horse winter blanket. I am also going to double blanket my horse. But i dont know if i should put a body, lycra sheet under the winbter blanket or just a breathable fleece sheet? What do u guys thinks about double blanketing? Thanks guys!!!

Ok, so I been blanketing my horses for years and I just got a new gelding who stands in the rain when it rains . He has a weather beeta on and I have also tryed a rambo but neither can withsatnd the amount of rain he stands under. Does anyone know of a brand that is especially water proof? Thanks!
