How to train a horse is something that will begin from birth.  Most horses might not be handled at birth or even until they are ready to be trained to saddle but from birth they will learn all about the world around them.  But once the horse becomes yours and of training age it will be your job to train it properly.  For some, training properly means that you will shell out the money to have someone else do it.  But there is so much that you can do yourself that you will be surprised.

Right one of the new cobby mares has just ripped her rug to beyond repair!!!
So now I have another question on rugs…
WHat is the difference between Rhino and Amigo rugs, is one better or what?
What do you think of them.
Also are rambos worth the money?

I have to buy another blanket, and am deciding on what to buy. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my two year old Rambo blanket! One year after I bought another horse and I bought an AMIGO blanket thinking, “oh its horseware ireland, it should hold up as well as my rambo” and boy was I WRONG! After about a year of owning it, I had to have big gaping holes sewn up. So, NOW Ive gotten another horse and my dilema is should I try a RHINO blanket [the third brand in horseware ireland] and try to save money or splurge for the already proven RAMBO?
ALSO- if you know a certain brand you like, I would love to hear about it. Maybe even link a webpage to the ones you are talking about. Thanks =]

I have searched the web and not found any stockists of Rambo horse rugs in Australia only – do you know of any??
Need a synthetic combo with at least 1200 denier outer and at least 400 pollyfil – my guy really feels the cold!
If you dont know of any stockist of rambo rugs in Australia – any other suggestions would be appreciated (as to where i can get a really warm rug).
Please no horseland etc as i will not buy weatherbeeta rugs again they are cheaply made and not worth the money!
