I have a 17 year old gelding Throughbred. He is around 16 hands. 16.1 or 16.2. I am trying to figure out what size horse blanket I need to buy him. I measured him but I am not sure how. I measered from the middle of his chest to his tail. That measered around 6 feet. Please help it is getting cold.

My gelding is a biggish quarter horse–not exactly sure of his height but how do you measure a horse for a blanket?
Because horse blankets are used for so many different situations, it shouldn’t be surprising for you to find that there are many different types of horse blankets and sheets.
